Wedmore Harvest Home Procession
This is your chance to join in a well-loved, local, traditional event. Individual and group entries are all welcome. Pedestrians, cyclists, horseback, horse and carts, vintage vehicles and floats. (Help with finding tractors and trailers will be provided if necessary). Don't miss this opportunity to be part of this wonderful event!

Procession Route
Assemble in The Borough. After judging, the procession moves through the village via Church Street, Glanville Road, Sand Road, West End and Plud Street to the assembly area opposite the playing fields.

Classes are:

Class 1 Single pedestrian (up to 4 years of age)
Class 2 Single pedestrian (5-9 years of age)
Class 3 Single pedestrian (10-14 years of age)
Class 4 Group pedestrian (up to 4 years of age)
Class 5 Group pedestrian (up to 9 years of age)
Class 6 Group pedestrian (up to 14 years of age)
Class 7 Family group pedestrian: Cup Presented
Class 8 Horse Class, Mounted
Class 9 Horse Class, Vehicle
Class 10 Vintage Cars: Cup Presented
Class 11 Vintage Tractors: Cup Presented
Class 12 Vintage Bikes
Class 13 Float, Adult Comic: Cup Presented
Class 14 Float, Adult Other: Cup Presented
Class 15 Float, Children under 10: Cup Presented
Class 16 Decorated Hanging Arrangement, Adult (in the marquee)
Class 17 Decorated Hanging Arrangement, under 14 years (in the marquee)
 
(Decorated Hanging Arrangements may be submitted at the marquee by 8:00pm on the previous evening.)

All vehicles should be insured by the owner.

All classes will be judged with certificates to each entrant. Perpetual cups and plates will also be presented. All prize money to be distributed at the playing fields. It would be helpful if you could enter before the day. Please phone Maxine on Wedmore 01934 712440 after 6.00 pm
